Welcome to the home of Mambo Code
Mambo-code.org has been established as a free development and distribution environment for the Mambo community to build and manage Open Source software projects based around Mambo. The Mambo code resource is designed to assist collaborative development of open source components, themes, extensions, add-ons, plug-ins, modules and anything related to Mambo.
Mambo is a business-oriented open source CMS written in the PHP programming language, the world's most popular programming language for web-based applications. The flexibility of the code and inbuilt ability to extend Mambo make it one of the most powerful content management systems available today. Mambo is the perfect solution for developers and novice users alike who demand a simple yet elegant way to deploy professional websites rapidly.

If you are looking for developer documentation (or wish to contribute some) check out the developer articles on http://mambo-manual.org. For peer support, go to our Mambo community forums at http://forum.mambo-foundation.org.
Mambo-code.org is the successor of earlier Mambo project repositories and development forges. Way back in time, we had the Mambo forge. Then came MamboXchange. These forges have been superseded by mambo-code.org. The Mambo Code forge is the official Mambo resource run by the community-controlled Mambo Foundation, Inc.
